"Co Inky Dink"
Place your trust in the Lord, ask him for guidance.
The first step is to pray to Him. Ask Him for help. If you are struggling with a decision, ask Him what you should do. What He would like for you to do. You may not understand what the steps are for you to achieve your purpose will be, but if what you are asking in is accordance with His will, that is, it doesn’t go against His commandments, God will fulfill your request. He wants to show you how much love he has for you and all you can accomplish when you choose to be with Him.
“Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,” will enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.” Matthew 7: 21
God is all-knowing and all-powerful. And we aren’t expected to understand His ways. But we need to have faith in Him.
To give your life over to God, to say, “do with me as You will,” you would be in effect saying, as Jesus taught us to pray, “Let Your will be done.” And by helping you, God glorifies Himself.
“He saved us and called us with a holy calling, not because of our works, but because of his own purpose and undeserved kindness. This was given to us in connection with Christ Jesus before times long ago,” 2 Timothy 1:9
He shows you His forgiveness of your sin; He shows you His mercy. And if you continue to choose God over sin, He gives you the promise of everlasting life.
The devil can only offer you momentary happiness. The devil knows that God gave you Free Will. He tempts you and wants to prove to God that humans should be destroyed. The devil’s goal is for you to fail. For you to lose faith in God, turn away from Him and be condemned to eternal destruction.
However if we choose to do God’s will and turn away from sin and temptation by turning to Jesus in our suffering, our faith will save us from the second death.
But, it is difficult to know His will if you are not committed to Him completely. You cannot serve two masters. That is, you cannot say you love God, and also choose to sin.
“Go in through the narrow gate, because broad is the gate and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are going in through it; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are finding it.” Matthew 7:13-14
The Bible Verse References that I, Mary Jeanne Cincotta, am a testimony to are described in Ephesians 4:28-30
"Let the one who steals steal no more; rather, let him do hard work, doing good work with his hands, so that he may have something to share with someone in need.
Let a rotten word not come out of your mouth, but only what is good for building up as the need may be, to impart what is beneficial to the hearers. Also do not be grieving God's Holy Spirit, with which you have been sealed for a day of releasing by ransom."
