Have Sex, Tend His Garden, and Multiply

Sex

Our physical, biological bodies were meant for sex. With that, you can just add some water and a fruit or vegetable from the garden and you will stay in the best health of your life.

That was the story of Genesis before the fall.

My favorite comedian of all time is @KattWilliams, and he summed up the meaning of life in his World War III Tour to the affect of the two things you need to survive are Water and Pussy.

The meaning of life is finding the right sexual partner or husband or wife, tending a backyard garden, and popping out babies. That’s about it. “Garden of Eden.”

Unless you like having electricity…But perhaps there’s a new tentative technology for that.

However, with a great majority of our lives consumed by earning money, we’ve gotten very far away from God’s intention for humanity, to enjoy our families. When life is simplified, and whittled down to the ultimate happiness. It is the time that one spends intimate with their spouse and in the presence of their loved ones that matter most.

Remember God loved Adam so much that He didn’t even want him to become lonely. So he made Adam a companion. He made Eve, and Adam was so happy he said,

“This is at last bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh. This one will be called Woman, Because from man she was taken. That is why a man will leave his father and his mother and he will stick to his wife, and they will become one flesh”. Genesis 2:23

Food

Many of health’s woes stem from an over-consumption of something. As we should have everything in moderation, the Bible also says we should not worry about what to eat:

Matthew 6:25-27

25 “On this account I say to you: Stop being anxious+ about your lives* as to what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your bodies as to what you will wear.+ Does not life* mean more than food and the body than clothing?+ 26 Observe intently the birds of heaven;+ they do not sow seed or reap or gather into storehouses, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth more than they are? 27 Who of you by being anxious can add one cubit* to his life span?+

Housing

An aside, Jehovah meant for us to enjoy the Earth He created for us. He even expected for us to go camping. In Leviticus Chapter 23 it mentions the Festival of Booths where the last week of the celebration are people dwelling in booths.

Leviticus 23:39-43

However, on the 15th day of the seventh month, when you have gathered the produce of the land, you should celebrate the festival of Jehovah for seven days.+ On the first day is a complete rest and on the eighth day is a complete rest.+ 40 On the first day, you will take the fruit of majestic trees, the fronds of palm trees,+ the branches of leafy trees and poplars of the valley,* and you will rejoice+ before Jehovah your God for seven days.+ 41 You will celebrate it as a festival to Jehovah for seven days in the year.+ As a lasting statute during all your generations, you should celebrate it in the seventh month. 42 You should dwell in the booths for seven days.+ All the natives in Israel should dwell in the booths, 43 so that your future generations may know+ that it was in the booths that I made the Israelites dwell when I was bringing them out of the land of Egypt.+ I am Jehovah your God.’”

But I don’t think that means they were just reading books in there for seven days…

I mean, if this quote from the Bible isn’t a camping enthusiast planning to get it on, then I don’t know what is:

Isaiah 54:2

2 “Make the place of your tent more spacious.+

Stretch out the tent cloths of your grand tabernacle.

Do not hold back, lengthen your tent cords, And make and make your tent pins strong.+

But oddly enough none of the reality show creations of pairing a naked couple together out in the wilderness ever resulted in romance like Naked and Afraid, which my husband joked was Nude and Frightened. It was all about, “Where am I going to sleep?” “What are we going to eat?” Then they’re not eating a lot, getting sexier everyday and they’re still not having sex. Then they get a survival rating at the end. And they both improve their scores. I would give that performance a failing grade. I guess they didn’t realize that if we don’t have sex, we won’t survive.

I mean you’re already naked, what’s there to be afraid of?

Oh yeah, the film crew…

I’m sure Jehovah is thinking, “Now this is just plain weird….”

But into all the earth their sound* has gone out, And to the ends of the inhabited earth* their message.aIn the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun;
