How to Avoid Nuclear War with Iran

Updated: Mar 10

So the US wanted to control the flow of Iran’s oil so that they could cut Russia off from the Persian Gulf back in 1977?

Sounds kinda evil, but the offense I believe Iran took from the US trying to manipulate its government goes even further back:

In the early 1950s a struggle for control of the Iranian government developed between the shah and Mohammad Mosaddegh, a zealous Iranian nationalist. It appears Mossaddegh and me personally, believe in the concept of land owner/resident/entrepreneur (country) should be able to set the price of their land resources or products for sale, but Britain asked the US for help to “control Iranian government.”

THEN:

“Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh was soon overthrown in a coup orchestrated by the CIA and British intelligence. The Shah was reinstalled as Iran's leader.”

-NPR, How the CIA overthrew Iran’s Democracy in 4 Days

So if we just skip 70 years ahead…from the 1950s 🙄 to present day, it appears institutionalizing or installing a US hand-picked gov’t official FOR the Iranians who was not liked by its people caused “unrest”—> “US Embassy hostage situation”—> “primary sanctions”—>”secondary sanctions” yadda yadda yadda leads to nuclear ☢️ war.

So is the moral of the story: "You get what you get, and you don’t get upset.”?

OR

Shall we come clean and admit to the mistakes of dead Presidents?

Let’s please de-escalate the situation and have a better understanding of past grievances. World Trade should be civil and based on supply/demand and what the seller is willing to agree with.

Just remember a quote from Adventures in Babysitting, "Don't F*ck with the Lords of Hell" "Don't F*ck with the Babysitter!"

NOTES from Internet gathered Nov 16, 2023.:

“Mohammad Mossadegh (died 1967) was a beloved figure in Iran. During his tenure, he introduced a range of social and economic policies, the most significant being the nationalization of the Iranian oil industry. Great Britain had controlled Iran's oil for decades through the Anglo-Iranian Oil Co.”

“August 19, 1953: Massive protests broke out across Iran, leaving almost 300 dead in firefights in the streets of Tehran. Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh was soon overthrown in a coup orchestrated by the CIA and British intelligence. The Shah was reinstalled as Iran's leader.”
